Kursk State Agricultural University continues to create a comfortable and safe educational environment for students from different countries around the world!

One of the objectives of state policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional values is "increasing Russia's role in the world by promoting traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, based on original universal human values."

It was precisely for the implementation of this objective that on April 29, 2026, a meeting took place between international students from the near abroad countries studying at Kursk State Agricultural University named after I.I. Ivanov and representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment, and Tourism of the Kursk Region and the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Kursk Region.

The meeting was held as part of a comprehensive program implemented at the university for the adaptation and integration of international students.

The speakers at the meeting were: Feoktistova T.N., Deputy Head of the Department for Employment Promotion and Labor Migration of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Kursk Region, and Alyokhina T.V., Head of the Department for Work with Compatriots, Refugees, and Displaced Persons of the Citizenship Department of the Directorate of Migration Affairs of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kursk Region.

The discussion focused on current issues such as preserving historical memory, countering attempts to falsify history, and preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, as well as traditional family values.

Since the legal literacy of international students is a crucial factor for their safety, successful integration, and the formation of a positive experience of staying in Russia, particular attention was paid to explaining the norms of migration legislation.

Another aspect of the discussion was the implementation in the Kursk Region of the state program "Assistance to the Voluntary Resettlement of Compatriots Living Abroad to the Kursk Region."

The conversation was truly lively and open. Students actively asked questions and inquired about the nuances of document processing.

We thank the representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Kursk Region and the Directorate of Migration Affairs of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kursk Region for the interesting and productive dialogue.
