Faculties and institutes

Training of professionals at the academy is carried out at five faculties of higher education, at the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education and at the Institute of Continuing Education.

The oldest faculties of the university – Agrotechnological and Zooengineering, began their activities in 1956. Further development is connected with the organization of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization in 1961 and the Faculty of Economics in 1966.

The success in animal husbandry in the Kursk region and the associated problems of the occurrence and spread of animal diseases required the involvement of veterinary specialists. In 1971, the Veterinary Faculty began its activity.

The growing popularity of vocational education became an incentive for the creation of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education in 2011.
