Zooengineering Faculty

Currently, the faculty provides training in the direction of bachelor's training 36.03.02 Zootechnics, in the direction of master's training 36.04.02 Zootechnics.

There are 2 departments at the zooengineering faculty: the Department of General Animal Science (head of the Department, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Glebova I. V.) and the Department of Private Animal Science (Head of the Department, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Dorokhina E. E.).

The faculty has educational and research laboratories at the Department of General Animal Science. The laboratories are equipped with the necessary modern equipment and reagents for conducting chemical, physiological and biochemical analyses of animal feed and body tissues. The Department of General Animal Science is equipped with a specialized classroom for the primary processing of livestock products.

The zooengineering faculty is provided with lecture halls and other classrooms, which are equipped with modern technical training facilities.

Zooengineer is a stable and prestigious job in the following areas

organization and management of agricultural enterprises;
selection of progressive, cost-effective technologies for the production of livestock, poultry, apiculture, fish farming;
planning and conducting scientific research on breeding, feeding and keeping animals;

To solve professional tasks bachelor degree student:

provides the technology of herd reproduction, rearing of young animals, exploitation of animals;
conducts the selection of progressive, cost-effective technologies for the production of livestock products;
plans the production of livestock products, evaluates the quantity and quality of the products produced.

A bachelor's degree graduate can continue his education in a master's degree.
