For more than 40 years, the faculty has trained almost 30 thousand specialists in the field of economics, management, accounting, audit, finance and credit, who successfully work at enterprises, organizations and institutions of the agro-industrial complex and other sectors of the region.
In recent years, the international relations of the faculty have been strengthened, due to the trips of teachers and students of the Kursk State Agricultural Academy to universities in France, the USA, Poland, Germany, Hungary, and the visits of foreign teachers and students to the academy. Graduates of the faculty successfully work in various sectors of the region's economy, in scientific educational institutions, many of them have completed postgraduate studies and defended their dissertations. Good reviews about their activities are the best award for the staff of the faculty and the academy.

Profile: "Accounting, analysis and audit in the agro-industrial complex"
The field of professional activity of graduates includes: economic, financial, marketing, production, economic and analytical services of organizations of various industries, spheres and forms of ownership.
The program is aimed at training economists with knowledge focused on successful professional activity in the field of accounting, analysis and audit. The theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired in the course of training will allow graduates to independently set and solve professional tasks in the field of economics, participate in the development of management solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of the enterprise and become competitive specialists in the Russian and international labor markets.
Profile: "Economics and management in agribusiness"
The field of professional activity of graduates includes: economic, financial, marketing, production, economic and analytical services of organizations of various industries, spheres and forms of ownership.
The program forms professional competencies for graduates that allow them to solve a wide range of economic problems. During the training, students of this profile acquire the skills of analyzing economic information, assessing economic potential, developing business plans, as well as projects for the development of enterprises and organizations. The program allows students to master the methods and methodology of analyzing the financial and economic activities of an enterprise (organization), assessing financial stability, liquidity and solvency, break-even concepts, business activity and profitability of an economic entity.

The field of professional activity of graduates includes: economic, financial, marketing and analytical services of firms of various industries and forms of ownership; state and municipal authorities; academic and departmental research organizations.
The program is aimed at training highly qualified personnel with deep knowledge in the field of economic analysis, financial management, accounting and financial reporting in accordance with Russian and international standards; financial and cash flow management; economics and management of enterprises, industries and agricultural complexes. The knowledge and skills acquired in the course of training will allow graduates of this program to independently set and solve professional tasks in the field of accounting and finance.

The knowledge and skills acquired in the course of training will allow graduates of this program to independently set and solve professional tasks in the study of economic processes, conduct and organize scientific research; develop and read training courses, conduct practical knowledge on economic disciplines in institutions of higher and additional professional education.
